Austenitic High Manganese Steel Crusher Parts

Austenitic high manganese steel is the core material for many jaw and cone crusher wear parts because of its toughness and work-hardening ability.

Martensitic Alloy Steel Crusher Parts

Martensitic alloy steel is a good choice for medium to high impact + medium abrasion conditions, where standard manganese is too soft but full high chrome may be too brittle.

 

Typical wear parts

  • Impact crusher ударные штанги for mixed feed (natural stone + some steel content)

  • Crusher hammers and liners in plants with frequent impact and moderate abrasion

  • Other wear parts that need stronger wear resistance than manganese, but still require good toughness to avoid cracking

High Chrome Cast Iron

High chrome cast iron is best for very abrasive, relatively lower-impact working conditions, where the main priority is wear resistance rather than impact toughness.

Typical wear parts

  • Breaker plates and impact plates in secondary/tertiary crushing

  • Liners and wear blocks in areas exposed to continuous abrasive flow, with limited heavy steel or tramp metal in the feed

Ceramic Inserts and TIC Reinforcement

Ceramic inserts and TIC reinforcement are upgrade options for critical high-wear zones where customers need noticeably longer life than a single-alloy solution can provide. They are especially useful when downtime is expensive or access to the crusher is difficult.

How they are used
These are not separate base materials. Ceramic or TIC bars are inlaid into manganese steel, martensitic steel, or other suitable castings to strengthen the leading wear surfaces while the base material still provides overall support and toughness.

Typical wear parts

  • Blow bars with ceramic or TIC inserts for very abrasive impact crusher applications

  • Jaw plates with TIC inserts for hard, abrasive rock or recycled concrete with rebar

  • Cone crusher liners with reinforced leading edges in high-wear feed zones

  • Hammer heads and other heavy-wear components in demanding, high-throughput lines
